My oldest sister used to have a friend with a girlfriend and kid, he was kinda dainty, and certain mannerism and his hair used to bring questions about his sexuality.

I don't think you can "act' straight either. I know gay men who act like men. Just because you're gay doesn't mean you're not a man. Which is why I don't understand why some gay males go out of their way to pop their fingers and roll their necks. Women don't even act like that.

I agree, some gay guys tend to over emphasize, but for a lot, I think it's natural.

Yeah, there are a lot of sub issues in the gay 'community' and I think 'str8 acting' was coined by gay men. Body language is probably learned from your family and community - why I can see a Haitian walking down the street and identify them by the way they walk and carry themselves. Gay men raised by rednecks are likely gonna speak and have body language just like their daddy, unless they consciously alter it when they get to the city.
Oh, and nobody ever considers bisexuals when assessing gay & str8. Where do we fit in? Other than skewing those genetic arguments, unless they can find a bi gene when and if they ever find a gay gene.
And no. I am not a str8 acting guy trying to hide the fact that I love sucking cock - I am quite out - just don't have nelly mannerisms.
