Speaking of cars...does anybody have a name or have named their vehicles? My car's name is Lucy. I think it's cute. And I got her washed and waxed yesterday, so she's sparkling in the sunshine right now......

Re: Naming your car
We call our current one "the Hamster car" (KIA Soul). I started out calling it Aretha, because Aretha Franklin is my #1 favorite female singer, and she's got soul. But for some reason it just didn't stick, didn't feel right.

Re: Naming your car
In 1980 we had a late '60s Buick Skylark that Brenda's bro gave her.
We called it the Millennium Falcon because it was kinda beat up but could still move.

Re: Naming your car
Only one of my vehicles have had a name. I think it was like an oldsmobile, or something. Anyway it was a much older vehicle, stalled out everywhere, friend and family named her Weezie.

Re: Naming your car
Oh, I forgot. My first car, a '57 Chevy was named the "Burgundy Beast" by my buddies at Ft. Meade.
It managed to burn off 50 wt reprocessed oil quite regularly (I carried a 2-gal can in the trunk.) leaving a white smoke trail as I went down the road. But it got us around to the local bars and eating joints near base and it seemed to run during the blizzard when all the high end cars wouldn't turn over.
