All the time... whenever I've been in any kind of trouble (trust me, there have been plenty), family is first I call, and they first to help.

A number of years ago my wife was injured and couldn’t work for a year. She was hurt off the job so she couldn’t go on disability. We borrowed money from her mother which we paid back. We also borrowed money from her brother when her engine shit the bed. Paid him back too.

Never for myself. My mother did bail my 1st husband out of jail once, and she made it clear that it was the last time, too. (She was right about him.)
