Not at my particular job right now, but yes. And we just chatted about the weather and how work was going that day, basically.

Yes, and those situations are a bit awkward when it's someone who I'm not especially chummy with. It's usually a smile and a 'Good morning.' After that, if there's chatter it's forced.

I rarely use the elevator but when I do, and am in there with someone else who works there, it's just the usual "Hi, how are ya?".
If it's someone who doesn't work there, I say nothing.
If it's someone who doesn't work there, I say nothing.

I'm in a one story building so it doesn't come up. Urinal splatter chatter is a bigger concern.
