Stairs. I feel lazy when I stand there waiting on an elevator when the stairs are right there.

I haven't been in an elevator since I was a new baby in the hospital, the town here's so small everything I go to only has stairs, but I don't like the idea of getting in an elevator.

I will take stairs for anything under six stories, both for the exercise and to lessen the chance to get stuck in an elevator if the power goes out.

My lungs can handle the trip but my knees ain't what they used to be. I'll take the stairs if I have to.

Depends on how many stories they are. At my job, there is elevator right next to a flight of stairs to the 2nd fl. When I get there, I'll push the elevator button and if it opens immediately I'll ride it up. If not then I'll go ahead and walk.

Yep. I damn sure ain't walking up no six and seven flights of stairs if I don't have to.

Neither am I. Waiting on one last week that was taking forever. People suggested we just all take the stairs. 8 floors? I don't think so.
