When you stop somewhere, do you always turn the car off and disengage the key; or do you ever leave the engine running while you go inside?

hahahah i used to have a car that when someone got out and the car was running the doors locked automatically. Once I went food shopping and picked some stuff up for my mom. I jumped out of the car without thinking and, with the car still running, shut the door. i had to wait an hour for the auto club to come unlock me... the frozen food was no longer frozen sad

I have keyless entry and keyless startup so no chance of that happening.

Only time we do leave the keys in is when it's middle of winter and we have to leave the heat on to defrost the windshield.

Yes, I do, I've even locked my keys inside my car while the car is still running! I'm bad about locking my keys in my car.

I live in Miami. You DO NOT leave keys in the ignition with the car running. (Unless you have it highly insured against theft and really want to get rid of it.)

I always turn off the engine and take the keys out, even for the quickest stop.
