I notice that at the grocery store I shop at, Pepsi costs about a dime less than Coke; or that Pepsi products are always running a special, buy three for a reduced price, whereas Coke never does.

My wife does the shopping and therefore, I have no idea of the price. Since she prefers Pepsi that's what's in the house I don't drink enough soda to have much of a preference.

Both brands run specials here. Both are about the same price. I know Pepsi tastes better than Coke. I don't think many people on the East Coast are Coke fans. That's more of a Midwest and Southern preference.

^^ We have specials for both here too, and I agree with you, Pepsi does taste better!! I really can't stand coke.

I'm a Pepsi freak. But a restaurant owner who recently switched to Coke products told us that their contract was cheaper than Pepsi's. Therefore, if Coke is more expensive than Pepsi in the stores then perhaps restaurants is where they compromise.
