Wow, from the only 7 I've seen, I'd say Lord Of The Rings is the worst. Fell asleep on that movie.

Lord of the Rings, to me, didn't merit the Oscar.

I'm one of the few who hated American Beauty. Thought it was a crappy-ass movie.

It's tough to say because I haven't seen all the films that they were up against for that year. I didn't see Cavalcade (1933) but I did see I Am a Fugitive From a Chain Gang. Maybe it's not the best title but it's a great movie.

Shakespeare in Love and Crash. The former was dull to sit through and the latter came off more like a TV movie.
