| Lord of the Rings, to me, didn't merit the Oscar.
I'm one of the few who hated American Beauty. Thought it was a crappy-ass movie.

| It's tough to say because I haven't seen all the films that they were up against for that year. I didn't see Cavalcade (1933) but I did see I Am a Fugitive From a Chain Gang. Maybe it's not the best title but it's a great movie. | |

| Shakespeare in Love and Crash. The former was dull to sit through and the latter came off more like a TV movie. | |
