From 1989 starring Kevin Bacon. A comedy about the Hollywood rise, fall and rise again of an award winning film school grad. It was directed and co-written by Christopher Guest (This Is Spinal Tap). I'd like to get the DVD for the commentary. I wouldn't be a bit surprised if it was based on personal experience.
