On TV you always see a coat rack right by the front door that everybody keeps their coats on, but how about people in the real world? Ours are kept in the dining room closet on hangers.

Once we get into winter we usually keep ours strewn over the chairs at the dining room table. Looks kind of junky after a while but when it gets to freezing temps it's more convenient.

Ya, kinda the same thing here. But I am usually ok with a sweatshirt, so I send coats to upstairs closets. We have a wonderful coat closet downstairs, but that is my computer/scrapook area, so no go for the boys that reside here.

I keep em either hangin in my closet or hangin on a hook that's hangin from my closet door.

On coat hooks at the top of the stairs. My winter jacket stays there all summer.
