Have you ever presented a tampered doctors note to your school or employer to cover up for an absence?

No. I've never had to. I've never doctored/forged anything like that.

I have called in sick with 'blue flue' but only for the amount of time that does not require a doctor excuse.

Hell yeah. When I first started my job my manager used to ask for doctor's notes whenever we called in sick, especially around holidays, even though she had gotten in trouble for doing the same thing before! I fixed her ass good, though--kept the same note and changed the date accordingly, I ain't got time to fuck up my insurance for something I can treat with Motrin or Maalox!

Of course. Xerox copy an old doctors note, then white out the old dates, fill in the new ones, xerox it again...then submit it to your manager. Piece of cake.

No but I have conned my doctor into writing out a note that listed ways more days that I was actually sick, just to cover my playing hooky.
