    Yeah, I was 18 and ran the light with a friend in the car. There was a cop waiting to bust my ass LOL.

    In my defense, there was an 18 wheeler that kept swerving in my lane, and the light was yellow when I decided to keep going to get away from him. I'm surprised the officer didn't hear our screams of fright.

    That's the charge here in Michigan as well. I have gotten more than one ticket for running a yellow, and it cost about $75.

    No. Been pulled over for speeding and not having on my seat belt, but never for red lights or stop signs.

    I ran a whole bunch of stop signs, on purpose a couple of years ago when my daughter was having seizures on a weekly basis. Had to high-tail it home from work one night to attend to her, and since it's all side streets on my travel route, I figured what the hell--if a cop was around and pulled me over, I would've just said, come on along and radio for an ambulance while you're at it.

    I have run red lights before, but it's usually when it changed at the moment. I'm sure I've run stop signs too, but I'm usually mindful to not.

    I haven't done so deliberately. If I run a red light it's because it changed while I thought I still had time to drive through the yellow light and if I run a stop sign it was because I didn't see it.
