I've had grits and didn't like it. NO matter how much butter/salt/pepper you add, its got no flavor to me.

I don't eat them on a regular basis, but they do hit the spot. A friend of mine puts sugar on hers.

Don't really know. Didn't like it when I lived in Texas. But I sure did like the shrimp 'n' grits with cheese that I ate in New Orleans a few years ago.

Yuck, my dad does, and he also likes grits and chili. Grits are okay with a ton of butter and salt on them but I wouldn't touch them with eggs.
