Professional? That depends.
I got my drivers license pic around 2005 and my passport pic around 2007. But I don't consider the paid employees at Walgreens or the DOV to be professional fotografers even tho they were taking pics as paid employment.
My friend Ramon Guerrero a professional did a foto study of me as a model in 1989, but they were nude and not really a portrait.
While I never made my living at fotografy, I have done professional looking pics. Like my fav portrait from 1991.
Or the 1995 portrait of me and Brenda, which has been published.
Other than that the last foto taken in studio by a professional fotografer was in May 1967 right before I got out of the Air Force. I was home on leave and paid to get a family portrait with my mom and sister.

Mid-eighties.
The pictures taken at my brother's wedding anniversary (which I was a part of ), and of our wedding in Vegas (in the 90's) were supposedly taken by professional photographers, but I could have done just as well with my Lumix camera.
