I have had my problems with drinking and have come mercilessly close to being an alcoholic. I was arrested for drunk driving twice in May 2001 and January 2002. Didn't get into any accidents, but I was pulled over for swerving and driving too slow. After the second arrest, my license was suspended for a year (I was lucky to have my ex-wife around to take me to and from work, and wherever else I needed to go...but by the end, she'd grow tired of having to be my chauffeur), had to go to AA and do community service. Had to have sponsors and personal written recommendations when it was time to go to court and plead to get my license back. When I finally was able to drive again, for another 6 months I had to blow into a breathalyzer tube to get the car to start. Worse was at red lights because whenever I braked, I had to blow into it again. That was embarrassing at times. Being at drive thru's and having to blow into that fucking tube (which sometimes for whatever reason wouldn't cooperate and the car wouldn't start). But I learned a humbling lesson. Don't drink anywhere near as much as I did a decade ago.
Anyways...test yourself with this.
