If your family is mired in religion or tradition, how would they react to it if you (or any of your relatives) began to shun it? Would they accept that individual choice, or would it become an issue?

Well, it bothers one of my brothers that I left the church (I maintained a lot of the teachings, and have my own spiritual beliefs; however, I don't attend church) but he doesn't say much. I'd say that my parents would have been disappointed.
