    Either a character who was recast, or a situation like on Cheers/Two and a Half Men where another actor and character was brought in to fill the void of a departed actor/character.

    The Hills (yes I used to watch)

    Kristin Cavelleri to Lauren Conrad.

    Sure Lauren was sweet and nice, I just enjoyed Kristin's more ballsy/mouthy approach on the show.

    Yes. I prefer Joe Mantegna (not sure about the first name) over Mandy Pantinkin in "Criminal Minds".

    I actually preferred Laurence Fishborne over the other actor in "CSI".
