My mother got an artificial poinsettia for Christmas, that's because the ones we get from the store and the flower shop are all prone to dying no matter what care they get. Other than that, no.

I have several of the flowers that look real but are not. I think they look very cool. I am not big on the ones that are all just green.

I had one in my living room and was always teased for it by visitors. It eventually got raggedy so I threw it out.
