    I walk away. I'm kind of paranoid about standing in front of it while it's doing it's thing.

    Usually walk away. At work I sometimes forget I was microwaving something (which is usually a neck wrap).

    If I'm heating up a beverage I just stand there but don't necessarily stare at it.

    Depending on what I'm zapping I might stay close by in the kitchen but not staring into it.

    I walk away. You should wait at least a minute before opening the oven after using it.
