How much of a hindrance would it be for you if your kitchen had no microwave?

We lived without one before they were invented but it sure would be inconvenient.

I only have a microwave because my husband insists it's necessary. I don't see the point of having one unless you're in the habit of eating microwavable meals, which we aren't. Anything we heat up in the microwave can easily be heated up on the stove top.

Same here.
I have lived with campfires to cook on, but who has the time in a workweek?

I could live without one, but wouldn't want to. I'm much too impatient to wait 30-45 minutes for something to cook in the over that could be heated up in the microwave in 10.

ITA that it would be an inconvenience, esp. when it came to lunches.

I don't have a microwave. I cook fresh stuff only. Every day, different menu. It's fun, but sometimes, drives me nuts too, because I don't know what to cook anymore.
If I want to make something warm, I just turn on the stove.
Today dinner: Fish for me, steak for my bo with French fried and salad. Anybody wants to come? I'll cook an extra portion.
