I used to like them thick but I prefer them flat because it leaves more room to pile on pickles.

I like Carl's Jr's big burgers but can never finish one. I usually prefer them a little flatter. But I do want a reasonable patty in it. I love Inn n Out Burgers but their patties are so thin they're almost not there. So I order the double-patties and they're just right.
