| On school nights. 9PM. On weekends and in the summer when my son stayed with me he could stay up as long as he wanted. He couldn't be outside though. | |

| For school nights, 10:30, weekends, as late as they want. That's what we did. | |

| I think 9 is good for school nights and stay up however late on weekends. This is how it was for me when I was 10. | |

| From late elementary school throughout middle school, my bedtime on school nights was always 10:00. Once I got into high school, I no longer had a "bedtime" and it was up to me to make sure I had my ass out of bed in time for school. So I would say for a 10 year old curfew is when the street lights come on and bedtime is 10pm. That gives him/her at least 8-9 hours of good rest before school the next morning. | |

| I'll go with 9. Weekends can stretch to 10. Depends on the child, though. Mine was ADD, and because she could be exhausting to the rest of us, I didn't let her stay up late. She was a 'crash 'n' burn' type. | |

| My twins are 11 y/o and their bedtime has been loosely 9 o'clock since they were about 6. These days they hardly ever go to bed on time, but 9 pm is supposed to be the "rule". | |
