    If you are (or were) married, would you be okay with your spouse having a best (not casual) friend who was of the opposite gender? With them paling around and spending a significant amount of time with said friend; even when you weren't around?

    Yes. I have male friends who are married. Contrary to popular belief, men and women CAN just be platonic friends.
