(Even though the practice of sucking the venom out of a snakebite has been long recommended by the boy scouts and whatnot, nowadays it's not considered a good idea. For shits and giggles, pretend you're a Scout )

Would you try to be helpful and possibly need therapy later? Or would you pray for a quick rescue?

Well you did say lost in the woods so it would be useless to call 911 if you had a cell phone and if you had cell service in the woods at all. I am assuming also that if we were lost in the woods no one would know where we were in the woods. I would do whatever I had to do to save my relative. Would I need therapy afterwards? Absolutely not, just knowing I saved their life is good therapy for me.

Yeah, I should have added the "NO CELL PHONE" clause to make everyone think harder! LOL

I'd need to see them on the ground in convulsions before I even slightly considered it. Some things would have to never be spoken of again and that would be one.
