Does you school or job do that "Secret Santa" crap? I could never get with it....if I buy somebody a gift, they're gonna know who it is from.

My job right now doesn't, but I've had a job that did that....but we still knew who it was from. We pulled names out of a hat and whoever named you pulled, you bought them a gift. I kinda didn't like that....because if I bought someone a nice gift, and the person who got my name bought me a shitty gift, I'd be pissed. Fortunately for me, I pulled the name of the girl who pulled mine.

I remember doing that with small businesses a long time ago where everyone knew each other in an office. There was usally a $10 limit on spending. If you are big enuf company for an HR department you likely could opt out of that. It is not part of the job description.

We did that shit once within our group. I got a Dollar General toaster oven.
