Scoops & Spoiler
Previews for the week of 05-Dec-2011
by Carol Banks Weber

  • Todd secretly feels anxiety upon seeing Tomas’s assistant Calmar walk into police headquarters. But he needn’t bother; Calmar plays right into Todd’s scheme.

  • Why is Calmar, Tomas’s trusted servant, throwing his master under the bus like that when questioned by John, the detective? Alas… John isn’t that gullible.

  • John smells a rat, then bats his theories around with Bo. Namely, that John remains convinced Todd shot Victor all along.

  • Blair gets on Todd to publicize about Tomas’s MIA status in The Sun. Make it worth the public’s while to search for any signs.

  • Tomas resurfaces, flooring Blair with his Skyped confession that he was the one who shot Victor.

  • Blair allows herself to be vulnerable around Todd, as the full weight of Tomas’s confession shatters her.

  • Téa gloms onto the fact that John’s sniffing around at another likely culprit here.

  • Téa won’t let up on John until he gives her all he knows, including his fixating on Todd as the killer.

  • Téa tells John Blair must be told, for her safety.

  • John tries to discourage Téa from blabbing prematurely to Blair, out of concern for her safety and worry that Blair might react emotionally.

  • Téa sees the greater benefit in telling Blair than not.

  • Téa rushes to Blair’s side, only to see her already occupied in Todd’s arms.

  • Todd feels conflicted. He’s glad he got away with murder, yet, he’s not.

  • Roxy continues to cheerlead for the Natalie and John love machine, by nagging Natalie to stop beating around the bush and go be with her man.

  • Natalie stubbornly refuses to pay any attention to Roxy.

  • Roxy feels she has no choice but to go to John herself to speak for Natalie.

  • Shane persuades Neela to wheedle the whole truth from Jack. She’s not sure, but she’s game.

  • Jack interrupts Shane talking Neela’s ear off.

  • Jack acknowledges to Neela his bullying ways with Shane. However, Jack emphatically states he had nothing to do with intentionally trying to harm Gigi.

  • Jack takes Neela aside to give her his side of the story.

  • Jack hits on Neela, to see if they can hang out at his place.

  • Destiny and Roxy corroborate Shane’s indictment against Jack, when catching Neela up.

  • Before Neela gets to Jack’s place, she hides a tape recording device.

  • Neela tries to evoke a confession from tight-lipped Jack.

  • Starr tries, but is unable to knock down Jack’s walls.

  • Noelle unveils a special pie concocted in honor of Gigi, and shows Shane.

  • Noelle extends an invitation to Shane to join her and Moe when they go to Paris, TX for the annual pie-making contest.

  • Shane envisions a way to bring Jack down—through Neela.

  • Aubrey blows Rex’s mind with the revelation that Cutter and Kim are connected as brother and sister.

  • Rex comes to a mind-blowing realization about this mystery he’s been pursuing. So does Cutter.

  • Rex and Aubrey go to prison to pick Kim’s brain, see what she’s got to say for Cutter and Stacy.

  • By Rex and Aubrey’s account, looks to Kim like Stacy made it out of the hospital and is with Cutter.

  • Kim discloses to Rex everything Stacy plotted.

  • Kim tries to broker a deal with Rex and Aubrey, in her favor. Kim wants out, maybe Rex and Aubrey can make that happen with evidence.

  • Hearing of Rama and Cutter’s deal with the devil, Aubrey takes Rama to task for putting Kim in prison for a murder she didn’t commit.

  • Kim puts Rex in an uncomfortable spot, when she probes into his association with Aubrey.

  • When Cutter escorts Gigi to the Bon Jour Café in Paris, TX, where she worked as a waitress, Gigi feels like it’s home. More confirmation.

  • Starr and Dani press Rick to end the charade of his lawsuit.

  • Starr has done something though, that could wreck all efforts.

  • Art imitates life when Roxy finds herself on a crusade to save her favorite soap opera, Fraternity Row, from cancellation.

  • Roxy enlists Clint’s considerable resources to salvage Fraternity Row.

  • Fraternity Row has everybody in Llanview on the edge of their seats as soap fans, including Viki and Clint.

  • Viki and Clint keep up with their show, then find themselves at the end of a liplock.

  • As soon as Clint foolishly brings up Kim’s name, Viki turns cold.

  • Clint goes on about his sorry love life with his trusted man-servant, Nigel.

  • Viki leans on Noelle as a confidante, spilling all about that kiss with Clint, Clint mentioning Kim stupidly, and ruining everything.

  • Noelle brings up a neat idea: why not fly to Paris, TX again and enjoy their annual Pie-Off? Noelle and Moe are participating as contestants.

  • Viki passes onto Clint her traveling plans, which perturb him.

  • Viki and Clint bicker about Kim. It doesn’t matter what nice things Clint says, Viki’s leaving for Paris, TX.

  • As soon as Viki heads out, Clint risks arrest by venturing out with her for a kiss.

  • Nevertheless, Viki is determined to make it to Paris, TX.

  • Kim manages to make her way back to Clint, which perplexes him.

  • Rex regales Shane all about Rio.

  • Rex and Shane make plans to check out the Paris, TX pie contest, to see if Gigi’s pie will win.

  • Rex returns the favor, kissing Aubrey right back, then asking if she’d like to be with him and Shane for Christmas.

  • Next week: Téa scares the hell out of Todd when she goes on about what she’d like to do to Victor’s killer… Tomas supposedly confessing to shooting Victor throws Téa off her game… What Todd has done (bad things) sends Téa to John for help in saving Tomas from hiding… Viki has a chance to see Gigi again, back from the dead, while waitressing at the Bon Jour Café again like old times… Viki, instead, has a chance encounter with her former husband Charlie… This could all end if John would just be up front with Natalie about his feelings. Yet, still he hems and haws… John asks Natalie to be his live-in, along with Liam, like one, big, happy family… Téa can barely handle another tragedy when she is told alarming news about her unborn baby… Téa benefits from John’s saving, understanding grace in her time of turmoil… Destiny and Matthew enter into a conflict about their unborn baby… Roxy tries to rally David, who’s back again, to do something to prevent Fraternity Row, the soap opera, from going under… Roxy tries to rally the other soap opera fans to join her in the campaign to save Fraternity Row. The irony… Vivian and Shaun go Christmas tree shopping. She assuages his hurt feelings as best as she can.
