At work. It was NOT love at first sight at my end. I liked him but found him annoying and was not attracted to him. Besides, I was still married. Married in name only, and things were falling apart, but I wasn't interested in jumping into another relationship. But as our friendship developed, it gave me the strength to make the right decisions.

I met Jim in the French Quarter, New Orleans in '73. He was working at a greasy spoon and Marsha a female friend from my apartment introduced me to him. I was wearing a pendant of my design (double Mars with a Venus glyphsl - indicating my bisexuality) and he noticed it and asked if I was sexually political.
While walking back home, Marsha and I both said we wanted to hook up with Jim. I won, Jim was into men and we were together for 5 years traveling much of the world.
I met Brenda at work. I was on the groundskeeping crew at a boys home and we would "accidentally" run into each other on campus. We started hanging out, going to lunch at the Waffle House and soon were having sleepovers at her apt. We were together for 18 years.

I met my ex- hubby at work and hated him originally. Then i was extremely attracted to my next bf... met him at work too. But with both of these relationships, all we had in common was work and we never really talked much about other things.
