Which comes more naturally to you, being happy or being unhappy (angst-ridden?) If you answer is the latter, how effective are you when you attempt to force yourself into a happy state of mind?

I've had a lot of practice being unhappy. It's difficult being happy for too long....it clouds my judgement.

I'm not easily made "happy-happy" but much depends on what element I'm in, and even where I am in life at the moment.
But sometimes I can reason myself into a brighter outlook. A good example are my health issues: I have to always remind myself that things could be a helluva LOT worse! But I have to keep at it to pull myself out of my pity-parties.

I find it pretty easy to be happy. Or at least content. If I am too happy for too long, I have a sense of waiting for the other shoe to drop.
