If your close friend or family member was murdered, and their killer was sentenced to death, would you attend the execution?

Of course.
It would be nice to let me pull the switch/trigger/trapdoor or push the IV.

As easy for me right now to say yes, I really don't think I could watch.
I'm not even 100% sure I believe in the death penalty.

Same here actually.
Intellectually, I know how fallible our "justice" system is and that we have imprisoned innocent ppl for crimes they did not commit, which says we likely have killed innocent ppl as well.
But, on an emotional level, if I were certain they got the right murderer, I have no problem with them suffering dire consequences.

I don't think I would but it is impossible to know until in that situation.

Nope.
Well actually I'm not sure....maybe....but my initial reaction is to say that I wouldn't.

I don't believe in the death penalty so I wouldn't care to watch it.

I might. "How" my loved one was murdered would have a lot of influence.
