Let's delve into the macabre now.

What do YOU think is the perfect way to dispose of a dead body?

Outside of running one thru a wood chipper, cremation is probably the most acceptable.

Take it out into the ocean, cover it in chum and let Jaws take it from there.

They actually do that in India.

We saw a dead baby floating in the Jumna River behind the Taj Mahal. Noticed that none of the Indians seemed too concerned about it and later found out that if you are too poor to cremate a dead baby, you can return it to the river (which are holy - not just the Ganges).

The perfect way would probably be to bury it in the woods, but I would probably dump it.

Throwing it into a mass of water full of piranhas would rid the body of all tissue and matter except for the bones. But unless there was physical trauma, there would certainly be no trace of anything left.

    And then, there's always . . .

Well, has anyone on here seen "Eating Raoul"?

Quite a few years ago, I remember reading about a place in Tennessee that does training for crime scene investigation. You could donate your body to the facility, after death, and they basically toss you in the woods in a cordoned off section of their property, and observe you, daily, for weeks and months, to see the decay process, what bugs and fungus is eating at you, and that helps to gather information that is used to train investigators to determine the time of death based on at what point things in the environment were getting at you.

While morbid, I did find that to be very interesting and I can see where it is helpful, and depending on your view, you could feel good knowing that you're "working" even after death to provide a service for trainees.
