Which movie versions do you prefer?

1951 Alastair Sim is a classic, it's the first one we watch every year as tradition, for us this is the 'official' one...also Scrooged with Bill Murray, the 1935, 1938 (shown every year on TCM) and 1949 TV special versions as well, and I like the Flintstone Christmas Carol also.

I haven't seen it since I was a kid, but Mickey's Christmas Carol was always my favorite Smile

Oh yes, how could I forget? I LOVED Mickey's Christmas Carol as a kid, it was my first introduction to the story. And I was a mean little child because one time I was watching it, and I must've been 7, and my mom came in and it was at the point Scrooge is falling into the flaming grave with the opening coffin and she asked, I guess she liked to test if we were paying attention, she asked what was going on, and I said 'Scrooge is having a dream', and she asked 'is it a nice dream?' and I said 'yes!' LOL But even at 7 I knew in the long run it WAS a good dream because it made him a better person.

To me it's a tossup of Scrooge from 1970 (with Albert Finney) and A Christmas Carol from 1984 with George C. Scott.

Alastair Sim in Scrooge (1951). Hands down for me.
