I call both of my grandmothers 'Grandma'.

Maternal grandfather died before I was born.
Maternal grandmother I call by her last name....it's just what we all do.
Paternal grandmother and grandfather I called "Grandma" and "Granddad."

I only have my maternal Grandmother still around and I call her "Gram". When her mother was still alive when I was a teen, I called her "Mummu" (Finnish term for "Grandmother") to differentiate the two.

Gramma and Granpa, I miss Gramma every day of my life , she died in 1975. She was in reality my only mother.

paternal were mom-mom and pop-pop... mom-mom's dad was Opa which is german
maternal were grandmom and grandpop
and my german grandmother referred to everyone as "dundee" which is aunt. So i have like 100 "dundee"s that i have no idea how or if they are related or even what their real names are... cause whenever mom-mom told a story it was "dundee did this or that"! lol

My dad's parents were Grandma and Grandpa.
My mom's mother remarried and we called her Grandma and him Pop Al.
Now the family mystery is how did two black kids from Florida come up with Opa for me. I could understand Abuelo, but there are no Germans in the neighborhood.
