Fair enough. But on a side note, regarding the "I don't know many artists who regard themselves as talented" comment - THAT might be one of your problems right there. Perhaps in order for others to acknowledge you as a talent you must first acknowledge yourself as one. There is a differece between being humble and being self-deprecating. You don't have to advertise your "talent" to anyone, but if you can even recognize it in yourself, how do you expect anyone else to? I think Michael Jackson saw himself as a genius and I think that's part of the reason so many other people did too. Just something to think about!

By the way, in case you haven't gotten the hint: I think you're talented!

^^^^Well, they say artists are their own worst critics. lol I'm sure many of the greats didn't regard themselves as such. Either way, I am sure to be neutral about it when querying agents (And I have spent the past month eagerly hoping that I'll get a good reply back) and friends have told me it's good. I guess we'll see in the future.
