Would you stop eating _______ (fish, meat, chicken etc) if you knew the species was dying out?

Unfortunately, most meat animals are cultivated and will never die out. In fact they are a great cause of pollution because of their unnatural numbers being raised for meat.

I quit eating meat because I do not like killing animals.

Well if they're on the verge on extinction, then I assume it won't be at the grocery store no more, so then I'll be forced to stop eating it.

    Agreed.
But yes, if a species of animal that is generally slaughtered for food purposes is becoming more and more endangered, I would be more leery of eating it, if for some reason it was still being manufactured.
