Embarrassing medical moment

Have you ever had an embarrassing moment while your doctor examined you?

Nothing that I can think of.

Only when I was screaming my head off during my first tooth extraction which was without nitrous oxide so I felt the whole thing.

Like Shale, the prostate exam, I had the doctor and a female nurse in the room when the doctor stuck his finger up my butt.

My male doctors always did it with just me and him.

Nope.

I did fart when my chiropractor manipulated my back but he totally ignored it as though he's used to it. I think that's common with them.

try having to go potty when the dr has you in stirrups! Getting a pelvic and I had already urinated, but by the time he came in and got me in position, i had to go again... and he kept pressing on my bladder saying "you feel kinda hard" I wanted to scream "yeah pal, I gotta pee!" lol

When I was a young woman I cried every time I had to take my clothes off for the Dr. Pregnant 4 times in as many years meant a lot of clothes taking off. Now that I am old fat and dumpy I don't give a damn, I feel sorry for the docs.

Just the typical colonoscopy.

Cant think of nothing I never had a prostate exam but I can imagine that would be embarrassing.

That was my first and I only had it because it was routine, I was seeing the doctor for a kidney stone!!!

I've given young me prostate exams (for free) and they weren't embarrassed at all. It was my gentle touch.

Nothing beats an erection during a physical exam for most embarrassing moment.

Anything relating to an STD clinic is mildly traumatizing. It's a necessary regular evil, but I always feel judged.

And being left in stirrups ain't cool. They forgot about me once for like, 30 minutes.

I remember during my first pelvic, with this little tiny dr who did not speak english well, the dr kept telling me that there was "something" up in me. She pushed and pushed into me trying to grab this "something". I told her there was nothing in there--she insisted, "a tampon, sponge, or something". I tried to convince her that I would have had to been the one who put it there!! But after like 15min of her pushing and pinching... she finally said "it was just discharge on my speculum". This woman totally forgot that a live person was involved and really hurt me! Didnt want to go back after that. Never saw a female dr again either!

Not a doctor but when I had to have a surgery done as I was getting on the table in the OR this guy (I'm assuming a nurse) yanked my panties off as he said "you don't need these" lmao He was cute, but DAMN. I still don't understand why I didn't though. Nothing was happening there.

I've been to many different gynos--the reason being I feel like I can't trust those bitches! It's been many years and I'm STILL looking for a decent doctor! The one male gyno that I did go to made me feel extremely comfortable and was sensitive to things such as keeping his voice down, giving me time to dress, and giving multiple samples. But the female ones talk loud ( I had to tell one to lower her voice, I didn't need the whole Commonwealth knowing my vaginal history), come back after 1 freaking minute after asking me to get undressed, and get stingy with meds, as if it's their personal collection!

And it's not just with gynos. I've noticed that female docs I've come in contact in general are just impatient, or want to prove a point by any means necessary. Of course my small sample isn't indicative of the whole market, but I find it interesting that someone else experienced this!

Unless you were in two arm casts he should have let you remove your own garments, especially panties. And he should have identified himself as someone other than a panty-sniffing orderly.

I worked as a nursing assistant and was the guy in several womens' embarrassing moment. (The female nurse was putting in the foley, but guess who was at the foot of the bed shining a flashlight up her vulva?)

Being male, I always told females whom I was to give "personal" care that they could ask for a female if they wanted. Most did not. Some with chronic conditions were used to male attendants.

Now, I barely escaped an embarrassing moment when I was supposed to give a Fleet enema to a woman, who was bent over the sink. Almost gave her a Fleet douche. Some women have a lot of folded skin down there - you need a map.

If that had been me, that doctor would've 'walked into a door' immediately after.

Yeah....that's all I'm gonna say....yeah....

When I got into my car accident, my legs were in serious need of shaving and it was embarrassing because someone had to put those panty hose things on my legs. Not too embarrassing, but I think that has been the worst of it.
