How well can you tolerate being the third wheel in a group?

Hmmm. It only bothers me when everything goes everyone else's way. But this rarely happens because I'm so picky of who I meet up with.

Now, last year I met up with a friend, who brought along another friend of hers (she's not a one-on-one type of person), and they were so engaged in each other's conversations that I couldn't wait to get out of there. It was the longest 1-1/2 hours of my life.

Very tolerant.

I don't do things with couples. I never have.

I did make the tragic mistake of going on a weekend shopping trip with someone I knew only somewhat well and her best friend. It was the worst two days of my life. Normally I don't mind being a third with two best friends because I don't need either of them to like me best. But two days in a row is just not going to happen ever again.
