Re: Netflix
I do both. It started out great & then they got slow mailing out the newer DVDs. THEN they jacked their rate by 60%. The streaming choices are not exactly spectacular but the thing they really have going for them is that you can find close to anything you want on DVD.

Re: Netflix
Yes, I do. Through the mail. And I hate it. Netflix has spectacular service, but I was a Hollywood Video devotee, and during my lunch hour I would patron the one across the street from my job. Seems they were always busy ('theft' was a big problem, I later learned).
But, see, I go through spurts. I may rent several videos for a while, then completely lose interest for a couple of months. With Netflix I'm stuck having to pay every month whether I want to watch anything or not. And I don't like this.

Re: Netflix
I still use it, even though I should cancel it. Even though they are pretty speedy when it comes to.delivering my movies.

Re: Netflix
I might have to start--the only Blockbuster store in my area is closing, so that means nowhere to rent movies. But I don't watch that much TV/movies, so it's no big deal to me, but everyone else is in a tizzy about it.
I think there's always a way to get creative, though--get 'em from the library for free, or our Newbury Comics has a whole aisle of clearance movies for $3.99 each.

Re: Netflix
We just signed up for the free trial to check it out through the tv/computer. It is pricy to add mail delivery, IMO. I don't think we will keep it after the trial.
