i went thru a dog fostering phase and a scrapbooking phase... an endless reading phase... a bad boy phase (thank god thats over)

As a teenager I collected coins and stamps.

In the '60s I collected guns. Got rid of those in 1970.

In the '70s got into plants, both for herbalism and growing. Kept a jungle inside my apartment. Even had a banana plant growing in Pittsburgh - kinda nice in the winter. Now I don't keep plants.

In the mid '80s to 2000 it was fotografy. Got pretty good at it. Did my own B&W processing in the bathroom. That was a SLR 35mm film camera. Now I just have a 5 megapixel digital.

Also in the mid '80s to 2000 I wrote a lot of opinion pieces and articles for nudist and gay publications as well as erotica. Now it is just Web postings & movie blurbs (and still the occasional erotic piece).

Currently wrapping it up, archiving my bio and sexual history as well as past family members whose stuff I had acquired, like my uncle's WWII letters that are now in the Library of Congress.
