Washing your hair

every day or the roots get greasy and yucky!

Since I got all my hair cut off, it gets greasy very quickly now so I also think every 2-3 days, unless I'm just feeling lazy and put it off a couple more. I'm a night person for showering so it can be very easy to put it off until the next night and the next night.

What's left on my head gets washed everytime I take a shower, just like all the other hair on my bod.

Once a week. You really shouldn't wash your hair more than that. You're constantly stripping away all the natural and healthy oils from your scalp if you do. If you avoid putting a lot of gunk in your hair, you wouldn't need to.

Maybe twice a week.

The answer to the question should vary depending on the type of hair you have (which is often determined by ethnicity). White people generally have naturally oily hair that attracts dirt. Most people with fine, straight hair have to wash it everyday to keep oil and dirt from building up and therefore keeping it healthy. Most black people have coarse hair that is naturally oil free and doesn't attract as much dirt. Therefore, black people tend not to wash their hair as often because washing it dries it out further and can damage the roots. People with this grade of hair often have to put oils or grease in their hair in order to style it. If/when grooming products are used, THEN it would need to be washed more often, but if it's left natural, it should only be washed once or twice a week.

Being in the military, I usually keep my hair short so it doesn't require as much maintenance as if I were to let it grow out. I have "mixed" hair that tends to me more on the oily side, so I wash mine every other day. I also wash it everytime I get a haircut obviously.

I wash my hair every day when I take a shower.

My hair has color & the hardest one to maintain, so about once a week.
