yeah when my sister was bent over in pain, the cop took her in the front seat and me in the back to the hospital. he was so upset about her that he forgot me in the back seat! I couldnt get out

Been in both the front and back seat of a police car. In 1969 I drove one on occasion with the Harbor Police Dept. in New Orleans when I was 'acting lieutenant' checking on other beats on the shift.
In 1970 I was wrongfully arrested with a couple of friends in San Francisco. Me and the other guy were handcuffed together and the girl just sat with us in the back of the car going to booking. (When they made us empty our pockets at the station there was my handcuff key on my keyring. The cop didn't say anything but gave me a look acknowledging that I could have unlocked those cuffs any time I wanted to)

My father is a cop so not only have I rode in a police car but I actually drove one a few times.
