Why am I just now discovering this show? Can't believe that in the five years it's been on the air, it all the time flew under my radar. Funny as hell.

Damn, for real? I got 4 seasons on DVD and eps on my iPod. However, I do think it's slipping a bit. Come on Aaron, get it together.

I had heard about it, but never bothered to watch. Believe it or not, it wasn't until the feud between McGrudder and Tyler Perry broke out that I made it a point to see what the show was about. Yeah, yeah, I know I'm later than a pregnant ho's period.

My favorite is Stinkmeaner. The OTT crotchety antagonism in his voice (and the way he says "what's gooooood nyugggaaaa") is just bananas, they should spin him off.

The rap/turf war between Thugnificant and Granddad (who I think is my favorite character) had me rollin.
You just mad cause your ass is old....
Then granddad did his own rap and called him "Punknificant."
OMG.

Old motherfucka! Eat a dick nigga!
What makes The Boondocks golden are the voices. I can't think of anybody else but Regina King to voice Huey and Riley and John Witherspoon to voice Granddad.

Thugnificent: "Just cause you lived a long life don't mean it can't come to a short end nigga."
I didn't know how I felt about it being Regina King doing the voices at first, but she's just as good at it as that lady who voices Bart. I also notice that as the seasons go on, Huey's voice gets deeper. In the beginning, both he and Riley sounded too much Brenda Jenkins. But I guess they altered it later on because as time went on I started hearing less of HER.

Did you all catch the new episode last night? I thought it was really quite boring. Season three has been a huge dip in quality and has turned pedestrian.

Last night was weak. Man how many fucking computer dating episodes for granddad they gon do? Plus she wadnt even krazy so it wasn't that funny really.
Uncle Ruckus was the only semi funny thing about it.

For a second I thought she reminded me of Luna. IA that there have been too many episodes centered around Robert's wonderment of social networks and computer dating.

I knew Aaron was slipping. I'm gonna write a letter to the network. I demand better quality than this from The Boondocks. I know he might be under some pressure, but come on now....he's smarter than to recycle old storylines.

Tonight was the best episode of the season, and it was Huey-centric.

OMG.
My favorite Thugnificent moment was when Riley wanted to join the Lethal Interjection crew, and Thugnificent aggressively declared "Lethal Interjections is about rags to bitch NIGGUH!" I fall out every time I see that.
Speaking of Thugnificent, I really don't care much for how they altered his character from pseudo-thug rapper to UPS package delivery man. I suppose it was done as a way of showcasing life after fame, but the character isn't the same anymore. Now he comes off like a sillier, clowning version of Tom.
