Your 'Dream Home' Empty Your 'Dream Home'

If money were no object, would you prefer to build a new home that you helped design yourself, or would you rather buy an existing one?

One already built, unless I can find a really good architect who could come up with something I'd prove of.

I'd design it but I wouldn't be the one to build it.

I would design my own and it would be small, maybe laid out like the apartment I now live in, with everything in one room. The exterior would be Art Deco. Main living would be elevated above flood height, with screened patio on lower level. I would have a storage for my bikes, which would increase my living area in the same amount of square footage.

We live in a senior mobile home park, we have a large addition so that we have 1300 square feet . I am very content with that. We have a large deck and a covered car port. Suits us although if it could be in a warmer place (about now hell looks cozy) it would help.
