Re: Your favorite fish
I'm more partial to crustaceans. But I really like orange roughy, tilapia, sole. I like salmon, too, but not to eat often.

Re: Your favorite fish
i prefer live beautiful sharks!!! There is a place in South Africa where you can take a tour, and you jump down into a shark cage in the ocean... in the middle of great white shark waters! sounds neat and horrifying at the same time!

I don't eat fish but enjoy looking at sharks - so ancient, yet perfectly designed from the start that they didn't need to change.
However, I do not go into the ocean because I know they are there and tho the chances of being bitten by a shark (Florida holds the record BTW) are really small - I don't want to be the one adding to that insignificant #. So, I enjoy the beach and sharks enjoy the ocean without me.

So if you eat a shark you could be a cannibal by proxy.

Crustacians are more likely.Alan Smithee wrote: So if you eat a shark you could be a cannibal by proxy.
When I was a teen and my adult cousin took us touring New Orleans, we went to a seafood place where I ate my first crab. My cousin showed us how to open it and pointed to a piece of anatomy and said "Don't eat that, it's the dead man."
I didn't get it until years later as a cop seeing a coroner worker get a cardboard box and grabbing all the crabs off a corpse that washed up in Lake Pontchartrain.

Re: Your favorite fish
The best fish I have ever eaten was freshly caught and fried on the spot was Lake Trout, it was superb even if I cooked it myself. Shell fish has to be crab, and scallops.
