Gods and Monsters (1998) Empty Gods and Monsters (1998)

TCM is presently running some non-monster films by James Whale who directed Frankenstein, Bride of same and the Invisible Man and I thought of this one with Ian McKellen and Brendan Fraser. It's a speculative story about Whale's final days before he was discovered drowned in his swimming pool and his "friendship" with Fraser's character.

I saw it as well. It was a very good movie. Sad ending, but Ian McKellen and Brendan Fraser had really good chemistry. I also liked Lynn Redgrave in it as well.
