The economy has tanked. We may actually be going into another Great Depression because the asswipe leaders haven't a clue how to deal with economic collpse.
(Hint: FDR figured it out - copy it - Boondoggle instead of laying off gov't workers, causing more defaults and lost business)
Personally, at my age I am stuck at the job I have because I can't get another in this field or any other.

I could easily change where I do my job, but I would never want to change what it is I do. I enjoy working in a lab, and I'm currently working on applying for a teaching position at one of the local colleges, that I could do during the day and still keep my night hours at the hospital. They need teachers for the lab program, and chemistry is the first slot that needs to be filled.
