I don't thing the two could continue to co-exist upon impact; either the impenetrable force would be shattered or the object would be stopped. It would depend on the mass of the object and it's speed before impact, and you'd have to use the following two physics equations: F = M x A --and-- E = (1/2) mass × speed2 In the first, "Force = Mass times Acceleration", would measure the force or how much of an impact, based on the mass(size) of the object and how fast it's travelling. The second equation, "E", or kinetic energy is measured, again, based on knowing the mass and speed of the object. Those two together, would determine "how big of a bang" you're going to get and the energy expended in the process upon impact. The smaller the "unstoppable object" and the slower it's travelling, will be less of an impact, and less chance of penetrating the impenetrable object. It's like smashing car into a brick wall--if you casually toss a Matchbox car against the wall, not much is going to happen and the wall remains intact, but if you take a larger, "real" car and punch the accelerator, chances are, you're going to do some serious damage to the car (and yourself), possibly puncturing through the wall. The force at which the object (car) hits the wall and the energy given off at impact, is determined by the mass and speed of the moving object, just like it would have to factor into Tony's question. | |

| One more explanation assuming the force is truly impenetrable and object unstoppable is that it could simply ricochet and keep traveling in another direction. | |
