Thankfully, I have never been that broke. But my most broke days were the first year or two I worked from home.
My son's uncle is in his 40's and he still has that issue. But yet beer and cig money is always found...

Umm, I think that's happened maybe once or twice. Yeah...I remember one time when I just started new job and had to ask my dad for $20 fill up the tank to get back and forth because I wasn't going to get my first check for like two weeks.

I have never been that broke, where I could not get transportation or food. I haven't made that much money, often working for minimum wages, so I must just plan well and stash money away for such occasions.
