Back when I was younger and didn't know my civil rights (as if in a police state) I was stopped all the time on 'suspicion' and asked to empty my pockets. With long hair they expected to find drugs but I was never that stoned or stupid to be holding while walking around in a police state.

Not physically but at Penn Station they have police all over the place that stop people randomly and search their bags. It happened to me once.
