This isn't really funny but the headline had me shaking my head. I don't know if someone was trying to make a pun or not.

Bangkok teenagers’ love of ‘Hitler chic’ draws furor

Here's one fashion trend you won't see in Vogue: "Nazi chic" has invaded Bangkok. CNNGo reports that some Thai teenagers have a "childlike fascination" with Adolf Hitler and adorable cartoon versions of his alter egos, including Ronald McDonald, pandas and Teletubbies. The local Israeli ambassador said that the trend "hurts the feelings of every Jew and every civilized person" and asked, during a recent visit to a local market, that a Nazi-saluting "McHitler" statue's mustachioed head be covered. The statue, which was soliciting donations to help flood victims in Thailand, is now wearing a Lucha Libre wrestling mask.

Kids do that shit, but adults shouldn't play into it.

When I was a preteen we had an art project making puppets. (Papier mache over a light bulb for the head then sew into a cloth puppet. I made adolf hitler, with the definintive mustache and little khaki shirt with swastica armband.

I don't recall any negative reactions from parents or teachers, tho I'm sure there were Jews at our school (German names are common in St. Louis so you can't easily tell who's Jewish) Anyhow, after learning who Hitler and the Nazi's really were I destroyed the puppet, smashing in the head with some violence.

Unfortunately, that type of teenage rebellion generally has to run its course. The more they protest their bizarre, quirky or indecent fashion sense, the more the kids will cling to it.
