| Do you think it's a good idea for tobacco products to feature graphic warnings?

| I don't think smoker's are a lost cause I just think most of them are addicted to nicotine just like some people are food addicted, sex addicted and alcohol addicted, its an addiction that can be broken if they really want to. I have to wonder what people did when smokers were allowed in Bars and the non smokers hung out all night and didn't complain when a hook up was possible. | |

| My partner Jim managed to kick heroin cold-turkey but never managed to stop smoking cigarettes.
Before the regulations, workers in bars had to breath that foul carcinogenic air. Even smokers would find tha ambient smoke irritating, which would make them light up and pollute the air even more.
I remember working in a pizza pub in Pittsburgh in the winter and torn between turning on the exhaust fan over the grill, which pulled in the freezing air from outside. The air quality got so bad that I did. Just told everyone to put on their coats if it bothered them.
So, I don't think extra warnings will have any effect on those hooked. Maybe it would help curtail some kid from starting - but I doubt it. Kids have no sense of mortality.

| No. The graphic warnings to me seem like a form of melodramatic harassment. Just put the surgeon general warning on the side for people to read, and let them make their own decision based on that. | |

| Trust me, smokers don't give a shit. It's best to not start because it's addicting as hell. Even when you quit the urge keeps dogging you years later. There's nothing they could put on there that would change a thing. | |

I read that smoking is being called an "epidemic" with teens now. They would probably just have a contest to see who could score the most gross pack.
